Our Favorite Ways to Warm Up in St. Louis this Winter

1. City Museum

Become a kid again and visit the St. Louis City Museum! Step into a world of whimsy and wonder at the St. Louis City Museum, where the boundary between art and play disappears.

You will find the giant aquarium where larger-than-life fish glide by, offering an up-close encounter with marine life. The iconic school bus perched on the edge of the museum’s top floor is an absolute must see.

For more surreal fun, climb into an actual airplane suspended mid-air. This is both a thrill and a stunning view of the museum’s indoor playground below. Everywhere you turn, the City Museum sparks curiosity and a sense of discovery, providing a one-of-a-kind experience indoors!

2. Anheuser-Busch Brewery & Biergarten

Ever wanted to feel like you’ve just walked straight into a Super Bowl commercial? Watch your step as you become immersed in the iconic Anheuser-Busch experience while surrounded by the beautiful Clydesdale horses at the Anheuser-Busch factory

Grab some friends or family and taste your way through the beer-making process (which is as cool as it sounds)! Choose from a variety of tours, which last from 1 to 4 hours and vary in price. The standard Day Fresh Tour is 1.25 hours and $15, demonstrating the beer-making process from “seed to sip.” With room for singles or groups up to 12, there’s something for all beer lovers alike here.

3. Hi-Pointe Theatre

Travel back in time as you sit in a 102-year-old theater! The Hi-Pointe Theatre features a fun range of film categories from New Releases to Weekend Classics. Others include Movie Book Club (page to screen book adaptations) and Music Movies which are sometimes followed by live performances.

Keep an eye out for Special Events (literally… it’s another film category), as there’s always something new premiering here. This upcoming holiday season, grab a warm cup of cider and don’t miss out on Cider & Cinema- a custom lineup of “heartwarming films that capture the Thanksgiving season.”

4. The Hill Antique Market

On December 4th, Christmas comes early! Shop discounts of at least 10% for 100+ vendors at The Hill’s Christmas Extravaganza. There will also be a pop-up market with local vintage makers selling original work. Snacks, a cash bar, and a raffle will also be available. Don’t miss out!

5. DiGregorio’s Market on the Hill

Enjoy a little slice of Italy at DiGregorio’s Market on the Hill. For over 50 years they’ve supplied authentic Italian gourmet food (so you know it must be good). After working up an appetite shopping on The Hill, step inside and taste gourmet pantry items or ready-to-eat deli sandwiches. DiGregorio’s specializes in imported Italian goods, fresh pasta, cured meats, cheeses, and more.
